To test the extreme performance of the Seto LED modules, Setolite immersed one of the modules in boiling water during an experiment. For this purpose, an induction plate is used that is set to the highest temperature level.
The XPECT2 LEDs operate at 220-240V when fully submerged. Even though the temperature of the water rises to 100°C, the SETO XPECT2 lens module continues to do its job perfectly!
The LED module stays on continuously when immersed in boiling water. Even when the module is immersed alternately in cold and boiling water it continues to work 100% without damage.

When we were young, and chosen for military service, we set up bow tents. An Alu palisade with sail; it took quite some time to set up. Today, fortunately, there are Airshelters; durable, easy to use and quick to deploy. It stands in about 2 minutes, watch a video of the set up below.
Hazmeds in Uden is the representative of the from America originating: Zumro. The airshelters are used in Defense, but also in hospitals. Hay Geurts of Hazmeds came to us, asking about a lamp with red light. Red light is less visible from a distance by the “enemy. We came upon Setolite’s Multicolour; a lighting fixture, which features a light source, with which ‘all’ colors can be made.
In addition, these colors can be dimmed, using a remote control. Includes preset/default settings so the desired color level and brightness can always be recalled.

Tightened laws and regulations for transporting lithium batteries
In the context of emergency management, there was an increasing focus on safety around primary and secondary lithium batteries. Laws, regulations, standards and requirements were further tightened, including in the area of transportation. For example, IATA (International Air Transport Association, the authority on Dangerous Goods Regulations) initiated new regulations, which only allow batteries to have a maximum ‘state of charge’ of 30%. The challenge of coming up with a solution to reduce the maximum charge of batteries quickly and efficiently has been successfully met by Elfa with their customers.
Made a virtue of necessity
The collaboration between Elfa and Faes came about from a similar need. Indeed, restrictions on packaging and labeling also became stricter in the early 2020s, leaving customers with their hands tied. Transporting certain types of batteries according to standards and requirements was cumbersome and time-consuming. This prompted customers to ask Elfa for help in finding solutions. After all, doing nothing was not an option. An Elfa employee suggested packaging specialist Faes Cases as a possible partner to take on this challenge together. So it happened that Pieter Schutte (CEO of Elfa), Daan Schutte (Sales Director) and Jeen Budding (Marketing Manager) visited Faes in Reusel, North Brabant.

The Gladius 3K at maintenance of the British railroad (Network Rail).
In collaboration with Setolite, Elfa developed a new floodlight for a partner in the British Rail industry. The request for the new wide-area floodlight came from one of our partners in the UK who needed the lamp for maintenance work on the British railroad. The Gladius 3K has a huge light output of 33,000 lumens and it consumes about 85% less power than a comparable halogen lamp. The Setolite Gladius work lamp is so special because it uses different colors of LED (warm white and cold white).
