Industrial VRLA batteries are in high demand in the Netherlands: Elfa Elementenfabriek is now an official distributor of GS YUASA’s industrial portfolio.
Krefeld, 14 February 2024 – Quality, reliability and safety are of great importance to both the world’s leading battery manufacturer GS YUASA and their new industrial partner Elfa Elementenfabriek . Whether it is customer service, standard products or individual solutions for optimal energy supply, both companies place great value on expertise and a high-quality product portfolio. This agreement applies specifically to the Netherlands and includes the distribution of the full product range of lead-acid batteries for industrial use. This range includes, among others, the standby battery types NP, NPL, SW, SWL, EN, NPH, NPW, REW, as well as the NPC, REC, ENL and SLR series for cyclic applications.
The cooperation between Elfa and GS YUASA is based on a shared vision of quality, reliability and safety. Both companies have more than 100 years of experience in the battery market and offer their customers high-quality products and service. Elfa has two assembly locations that enable customised solutions for almost any customer request. Elfa has cooperated for many years with the Dutch government and other official bodies, such as the Ministry of Defence, Technische Unie and KLM, as well as with international wholesalers and OEMs.
“For GS YUASA, the partnership with Elfa is an important strategic step. Our industrial VRLA batteries are now available through Elfa’s global distribution channels, which of course significantly strengthens our market position. We are delighted to cooperate with a company that shares the same values and standards as we do,” says Jürgen Johnson, Sales Manager Export at GS YUASA.
“For Elfa, it is an honour to become the official distributor of GS YUASA’s industrial VRLA batteries. We have always followed two principles since the establishment of our company: before a product is added to our range, its quality and safety must first be demonstrably proven. Moreover, we always make sure that new products complement our existing range to avoid unnecessary competition. We found all this with GS YUASA,” stresses Daan Schutte, Sales Director at Elfa.
